We Brought 170 New Books Yesterday for Migrant Children at the Long Beach Convention Center

This gift of books in English and Spanish supports the migrant children arriving this week to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services shelter at the Long Beach Convention Center. "... the donations of new books will truly enhance the children’s stay," said Long Beach Public Library Director Glenda Williams. "Books are a great way to nourish one’s imagination and improve reading, a critical skill needed to lead a successful life."
